Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SoftTender, a unit of Soft Trade Enterprises ("we", "us"), handles personal data shared with us through this website, WhatsApp, phone, email or in the course of our services. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.
What we collect
- Enquiry details: name, mobile number, email, state, service needed and your message.
- Service documents: documents you share for our work, such as PAN, Aadhaar, GST, Udyam, bank details, ITRs, financial statements, experience certificates and tender documents.
- Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address and browser type, kept by our hosting provider for security.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and share quotes.
- To carry out the service you engage us for, such as registrations, DSC applications and tender filing on official portals.
- To send invoices, status updates and renewal reminders related to your work.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We use your data only for these purposes and only with your consent, which you give when you submit the enquiry form or engage our services.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only where needed to complete your work:
- Official portals and authorities where your application or bid is filed (for example GeM, CPPP, state portals, NSIC, Udyam).
- Licensed Certifying Authorities, for DSC issue.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting and accounting, under confidentiality.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never share your documents or bid details with other bidders.
How we protect it
Documents are stored in access-controlled storage and are accessed only by staff working on your file. We do not keep your DSC token, DSC PIN or portal passwords.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months if you do not engage us. Service documents are kept while your work is active and deleted within 90 days after it ends, unless you ask us to keep them for repeat work or the law requires us to keep them (for example invoices and tax records).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. Withdrawing consent does not affect work already done. Write to [email protected] with the subject "Data request". We respond within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies at the time of this update. If we add analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), we will update this policy and show a notice on the website.
