View packages →If you have never sold to the government, the number of registrations can feel confusing. The good news is that you only need a few of them, in the right order. A Class 3 DSC is your electronic signature and is needed on almost every e-tender portal. GeM registration lets you sell through the Government e-Marketplace, where most routine purchases of goods and common services happen. Udyam registration identifies you as a micro, small or medium enterprise, which is the basis for MSE benefits such as EMD exemption in many tenders.
Once these are in place, add the portals where your buyers publish tenders. Works contractors usually need their state portal and CPPP. Suppliers to railways, defence or large PSUs need those organisations' portals too. NSIC registration is useful if you bid often and keep seeing it named in eligibility clauses. After that, the work is regular: finding suitable tenders, preparing documents and submitting on time.
